Performance about the Invisible
The Women’s Choir felt like fuksia first and then as blue-water.

Kiuruvesi.
The Performer Paintjockey Eva Sans (Evitzkaya-Pj) painted in fuksia the first songs of female Choir Kiuruvesi by the enthusiasm that flowed from their voices. Last Thursday night, in Väre Gallery, Sans took fuksia acrylic dissolved in water with a brush, releasing drops on the cloth which was stretched out on a table in front of her. After that moment Sans felt that along with the fuchsia came blue-water and had to apply it with a ball of newspaper.

– I felt the Choir in blue, there was so much peace in the songs, said Sans.-
When the artist Jukka Mulari started singing and playing guitar, at first hard Finnish music and after that folk songs, Sans’s painting took more volume with the drip technique and orange female figures began dancing on the cloth.

– I paint what can not be seen but felt, explained the Spanish artist Performer.-
Eva Sans lives in Barcelona. She has come to Finland to perform at the “ANTI” Festival of Contemporary Art in Kuopio and here in Väre where she also gave a performative lecture to introduce the term “Paintjockey (Pj)” on Thursday night.
“Väre” is an Art Gallery and a meeting place with relaxed atmosphere. It is home to the School of Art “LeeArt”, the theater group “Kiuruveden”, the Women’s Choir “Kiurun Laulu” and the ecological group “Luonnonystävät”.
